We are thrilled to announce the successful arrival of the third cohort of 12 nursing apprentices from Kenya, who joined the program on March 29, 2025.

This marks the total number of 25 apprentices from Kenya currently training as nurses in German hospitals, part of the SSTEA research project.

In collaboration with University of Applied Sciences Koblenz, Mount Kenya University (MKU), AG-Career Hub, and new partner hospitals, this cohort will continue the momentum of cross-cultural exchange. The program’s expansion highlights our shared commitment to offering diverse and enriching learning experiences.

The third cohort benefits from the lessons learned by previous groups, including the importance of cultural adaptability, language proficiency, and mentorship in easing their transition into German healthcare settings. Previous cohorts have set a strong foundation, with mentoring systems in place to provide emotional and professional support.

Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to ensuring these apprentices integrate smoothly and succeed in their training, contributing positively to their professional growth and fostering long-term international cooperation in healthcare.
