About the University
Every year, millions of people from all over are attracted to the Rhine area in Germany, especially to the Middle Rhine, which is undisputedly the most beautiful on the 180 km stretch between Cologne and Mainz.
The Koblenz University of Applied Sciences is located exactly halfway there. The World Heritage Site of the Middle Rhine is one of the warmest and driest regions in Central Europe - and also one of the most beautiful.
With three locations - RheinMoselCampus Koblenz, RheinAhrCampus Remagen and WesterWaldCampus Höhr-Grenzhausen - and with six departments, prospective students can choose from more than 70 degree programs. Bachelor's and Master's degrees are offered, as full-time, dual or distance learning programs - from basic studies to specialized courses, the university has an attractive range of courses tailored to the needs of the job market. Excellent equipment, modern laboratories and the great practical relevance make studying at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences particularly attractive. The locations and departments conduct interdisciplinary research in two major research areas. The university has a direct impact on the region and works closely with companies and institutions. Students benefit from the great practical relevance of their studies; graduates are often recruited even before they have completed their studies. Currently, around 9,000 young students are studying at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
International activities within the university also plays a major role. Students learn foreign languages and - if they wish – they can get the opportunity to study or work abroad. Numerous cooperation agreements worldwide make this possible. International students and guests enrich the colourful life on campus.
