We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, self-driven and proficient professional in Ethiopia to join us in implementing some of our projects across East Africa.


Role:

  • Managing end-to-end strategic advisory and business development projects for africon's clients across different practices, as well as effective client and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborating with project teams in executing day to day project tasks and ensuring project objectives are met within timelines, agreed deliverables and optimum resource efficiency.
  • Conducting management interviews with key decision makers in various industries to obtain high level perspectives, and to develop strategic links for clients.
  • Coordinating successful business trips with africon's clients to selected countries in Africa.
  • Developing relevant networks and managing stakeholder relationships at different levels such as with distribution partners, clients, private and government associations, etc. within the country.
  • Driving strategic B2B marketing of the company in the country through proactive participation in industrial exhibitions, conferences, and events.

Profile:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in business, sales and marketing or sciences.
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years work experience in any of these roles: project management, sales, business development, strategy consulting, market research.
  • Strong networking skills and good understanding of developing or managing key contacts.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally, in presentations and in writing. Fluent in English language. Other languages are a plus.
  • Able to effectively engage with primary and secondary stakeholders including project teams, clients, management team etc.
  • Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint as well as impeccable presentation skills.
