We are seeking a highly committed HR leader to manage our global Human Resources function based in Germany. This role is essential in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company’s goals and support our mission. The HR Director will drive initiatives in organizational development, talent management, people analytics, total rewards and optimization of all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This position focuses on enabling leaders and employees to execute the company strategy successfully, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, inclusivity and excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives, with a focus on enabling the business to execute its mid to long – term strategies.
- Change Management: Lead and support transformation processes by implementing effective change management strategies, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all HR matters and contribute to cross-functional projects.
- HR Analytics and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics to guide decision-making and report on HR initiatives’ impact on business outcomes. Provide insights for strategic planning.
- Talent Management: Lead the recruitment and retention of top talent. Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning to meet the company’s evolving needs.
- Performance Management: Refine performance management systems that align with company goals and drive high performance and foster professional development.
- Total Rewards: Develop and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs. Manage benchmarking, salary reviews, and benefits administration in line with market standards.
- Learning and Development: Develop and execute learning and development programs, fostering continuous improvement and career growth for employees.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Promote a positive and inclusive workplace by implementing engagement initiatives, managing employee relations, and addressing concerns proactively.
- HR Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with German employment laws, policies, and industry standards.
- Manage HR-related risks and maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law in the 15 locations where Finance in Motion has offices.
What we expect
- Academic qualification and proven experience as Head of HR, or in a similar senior HR role (i.e., in an international organization with 150 or more employees working in 5 countries or more).
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to architect strategy with a strong hands-on mentality.
- Experience in leading and managing change within an organization, with a focus on effective communication and smooth transitions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with German fluency an added plus.
- Proactiveness, service orientation and ability to handle multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
