What are some of the solutions that can expand access to education and skills for youth and business people in Kenya?
One powerful answer lies in the strategic use of technology to bridge learning gaps—especially in underserved or unconventional environments. AG Career Hub, in collaboration with Mr Signal GmbH from Germany, has introduced an innovative educational platform in Kenya that is already transforming how learning is delivered. A prime example is the ongoing partnership with Mount Kenya University, where the technology is being used to provide high school education to inmates in six correctional facilities as part of their rehabilitation and reintegration journey.

Technological Capacity & Impact
One of our core competencies lies in identifying, adapting, and introducing suitable international technologies that align with Kenya’s socio-economic needs. We are proud to have successfully introduced Mr Signal Technologies, a German-developed education delivery platform, to the Kenyan market.
This innovative technology is currently being deployed under a rehabilitation initiative at Mount Kenya University, where it is being used to support high school education for capital offenders in correctional facilities. As part of this project, inmates at selected prisons are being trained using tablets preloaded with the Kenyan high school curriculum across six core subjects. The initiative not only facilitates continued education but also contributes to personal development and successful reintegration upon release.
Our team has played a direct role in demonstrating and customizing the Mr Signal platform for use within the Kenyan prison environment, ensuring it meets local educational standards and infrastructure realities. The project exemplifies how technology, when purposefully applied, can make a transformative impact on marginalized communities.
