On 17th of September 2026, we had the opportunity to join Mount Kenya University for the send-off of the 6th cohort of young Kenyans preparing to travel to Germany to begin their Ausbildung.

At AG-Career Hub, we believe the role of the diaspora goes beyond building our own professional careers. It also means sharing knowledge, creating connections and making the pathway into the German labour market easier for others.

On 4 July 2026, AG-Career Hub hosted its 6th Career & Business Networking Meetup in Frankfurt, bringing together Kenyan professionals, students, entrepreneurs, families, and community partners for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration.

In 2023, AG Career Hub received an Award of Recognition from Mount Kenya University (MKU) during a career fair in Kenya for our engagement in mentoring students, organizing career opportunities and networking activities, and for our contribution to strengthening the academic and professional partnership between Kenya and Germany.

We are very pleased to announce that our initiative under AG Career Hub, “Kenianische Fachkräfte schaffen nachhaltige Integration” (“Kenyan Skilled Workers Creating Sustainable Integration”), was selected as one of the 50 award-winning initiatives in the nationwide competition “Zusammen wachsen: Gute Ideen für Integration am Arbeitsmarkt 2025.”

We are pleased to share that we were invited to participate in an exclusive diaspora engagement strategy workshop hosted by GIZ/WIDU on June 11th, 2025, at the Deutsche Afrika Stiftung e. V. (DAS) in Berlin.

On 14th of May, we had the pleasure of hosting Gaby Wasensteiner, a Senior Brand Manager and Career Expert at LinkedIn, for an insightful webinar focused on building a strong and engaging professional presence on the platform.
