About the Career Retreat
Meeting career, business and community development experts in areas of the profession can be a challenge for people who relocate to different countries to grow their profession.This is a role that many diaspora initiatives are taking lead in ensuring that students, graduates, professionals and community members looking for career opportunities and social interactions abroad are able to connect with mentors who can facilitate the mentorship based on their expertise and experiences. Many institutions, companies and universities have designed similar programmes and meetups to help the target group blend into the new environment and culture.
The AG-Career Hub, the largest network for Kenyan Students, Professionals & Businesses in Germany, held two career meet-ups last year (>>click here to access the gallery) and is excited to host another end of year event on 9th - 10th of December 2023 in Konberg im Taunus. The goal of the retreat is to redefine the career and business goals as we share professional and soft skills needed to grow in the areas of our professionals, sustainable investments in home countries and how to build solid diaspora communities in Germany.

About AG-Career Hub
AG-Career Hub founded by Kenyan Professionals based in Germany is an information and consulting platform with a key focus of establishing linkages to facilitate partnerships and collaborations with companies, universities and diaspora communities in Germany and in Africa.
The organisation was founded in 2018 and it is the largest network for Kenyan Professionals in Germany. Together with our team and a pool of experts and mentors we create linkage in academia and business between Germany and Kenya, mentor, coach, train young professionals and share career and business opportunities in Germany and in Africa. The community is made up of companies, students and professionals who studied, trained, worked in Germany or are in self employment and some have relocated back to their countries of origin.
