The Controlling and Reporting department is interacting closely with top management, Human Resources, and heads of different departments. Besides budgeting, planning, reporting, the Controlling and Reporting team is responsible for regulatory reporting requirements.


Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Financial Planning
  • Coordination of the annual budget process and multi-year planning on group and legal entity level
  • Translate company strategy into financial targets and key performance indicators
  • Prepare revenue, cost, headcount and profitability plans
  • Support strategic initiatives such as: New funds/ products, market entry, investments
  • Prepare scenario planning and sensitivity analyses Management Reporting & Performance Steering
  • Prepare regular management reports for Managing Directors, Supervisory Board and other departments
  • Analyse actuals vs. budget, prior year and forecast with explanation on key deviations and business drivers
  • Ensure reporting is timely, accurate and decision-oriented (why happened, what it means and what actions is needed or different action opportunities to be decided) Assets under management, Revenue and Cost controlling Monitor & analyse
  • Assets under Management by different effects
  • Track fee income by fund and validate the calculations and revenue recognition assumptions
  • Monitor personnel and no-personnel expenses and clearly distinguish between corporate costs, fund-related costs, and project costs
  • Analyse cost development by different aspects and breakdown
    Support cost discipline and efficiency initiatives

What we expect:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a controlling and financial reporting, preferably in the (international) financial sector (Asset Manager company)
  • Strong proficiency in all common IT applications, especially in the Microsoft products Excel, Power BI and advanced knowledge in the evaluation and preparation of data and AI.
  • Preferably experience with DATEV
  • Structured, independent, responsible, and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong communication and implementation skills
  • A positive, proactive, and curious mindset, enthusiastic about driving process improvements and automation in controlling/reporting
  • Team player with an international mindset and intercultural skills
  • Fluent in both German and English
