Rose Wambui came to Germany in 2010 as an Au-pair. After the Au-pair programme, she joined the FSJ programme and volunteered for one year as she continued learning the language.
To be able to get admitted at the University in Germany, Rose had to enroll for the Studienkolleg to get the qualifications required to enrol at the university. Since there was no Studienkolleg in the area she was located, Rose enrolled for the external Festellungsprüfung at the Studienkolleg and managed to pass the exams getting the qualifications needed for university admission.
Rose is currently undertaking a degree in teaching at the University in Köln. In 2019 Rose became the Miss Nappy Germany award and she is a singer! Be inspired!
